I had this idea for an iphone app. It would be the worlds largest outdoor sculpture.
Your typical iphone has three basic spatial tools: an accelerometer, a GPS unit, and a camera.
Using this, i can create the location and orientation of a camera in three dimensional space.
now comes the cool part. I take this information and I use image processing algorithms to insert huge black cubes into the sky. Thousands of them. extending to infinity, row upon row, endless.
So yeah. There's (going to be) an app for that.
P.s. The image is my test. I wanted to see what it looked like. Im going to work on the perspective a bit more (maybe print it out and draw some lines, and I'll add some more cubes, just to show the final intended effect. The cubes need some texture, too. Or not.
